Patriots Win Super Bowl, Brady’s Sixth Title
ATLANTA — The New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 13-3, to win Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Ga., on Sunday, with Stephen Gostkowski kicking a field goal with 1:12 remaining to clinch the victory for the Patriots.
With the victory, Tom Brady becomes the first player in NFL history to win six Super Bowl rings. Julian Edelman earned the Super Bowl MVP with 10 receptions and 141 receiving yards in the game.
In a defensive game, neither team scored a touchdown until the fourth quarter when Sony Michel rushed in a 2-yard touchdown with 7:00 left in regulation.
The Rams drove down the field to the New England 27 yard line when Jared Goff threw an interception to Stephon Gilmore with 4:17 left in the fourth.
