Six St. Francis Athletes Announce College Commitments
TRAVERSE CITY – Six senior Traverse City St. Francis student-athletes announced their college commitments Thursday afternoon.
Thursday’s commitment day featured five football players and a lacrosse player.
After leading the Gladiators to a 46-5 record and three state semifinal appearances over four years, Nathan Schmuckal is taking his talents to Grand Valley State and its football program.

“It means a lot to me,” Schmuckal said. “These guys I grew up playing football with since I was in third grade. And you know, to make it all the way here from junior varsity to varsity to winning regionals, you know, how many years in a row, it means a lot.”
