Central Michigan Lacrosse Loses In Heartbreaker To Detroit Mercy

MOUNT PLEASANT – Saturday was a special day for the Central Michigan lacrosse team. They honored their 11 seniors who were the first group to go through the program for all four years.

The back-and-forth high scoring game came down to the last period where CMU tried to make a run, but they fell just short 10-9.

Junior Natalie Karlen scored four goals to lead the Chippewas on the day.

Saturday was the final game of the regular season for Central Michigan. Next up for CMU is Furman in the Southern Conference Tournament semifinals.
