CMU’s Bunting Drafted No. 39 Overall To Buccaneers
MOUNT PLEASANT – Central Michigan’s Sean Bunting had his named called Friday in the second round of the NFL Draft.
He was picked 39th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 6-foot, 195-pound cornerback decided to forego his final season of college eligibility in declaring for the draft.
While at CMU, Bunting recorded 37 tackles, including 26 solos this last season. He recorded two interceptions and was named First Team All-MAC and earned the Chippewas’ Defensive Player of the Year Award.
The Chippewa Valley alum appeared in 38 games during his career with the Chippewas.
