“Just getting an opportunity to fulfill my dream is amazing,” Hudson said in a press release. “This is what I’ve worked so hard for; the days that sometimes you don’t feel like working out, but you do it because you know you’ve got goals and dream and you know you’ve got to get better. I’m just really excited to have that opportunity.
“I’m not disappointed at going undrafted. Because I still have an opportunity to play in the WNBA and play at the level I’ve always wanted to. I’m just going to take this opportunity and make the most of it.”
A three-time All-MAC First Team selection, Hudson is the second CMU player to receive a WNBA training camp invitation in the last week. Crystal Bradford, who stared at CMU from 2011-15, was invited to attend the Indiana Fever’s camp last week.
Hudson’s former teammate Tinara Moore also attend the Washington Mystics camp last year and is currently playing professionally in Spain.
