CMU’s Xavier Crawford Drafted By The Houston Texans

MOUNT PLEASANT – Central Michigan’s Xavier Crawford got his name called Saturday as he was selected in the sixth round of the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

The 6-foot-1, 180 lb DB was pick 195.

He transferred from Oregon State to play for CMU, where he started 11 games, made 24 tackles, 18 of them being solos. He also led the Chippewas with 12 pass breakups.

Crawford becomes the second Chippewa to be drafted in 2019, along with Sean Bunting who was drafted 39th overall.
