CMU Alum Presley Hudson Signs with Polish Team
Former Central Michigan guard and the school’s all-time leading scorer Presley Hudson has signed her first professional contract with Politechnika Gdańska of Gdansk, Poland for the upcoming season.
An undrafted free agent following the 2019 WNBA Draft, Hudson attended the defending WNBA champion Seattle Storm’s training camp and appeared in a pair of preseason games. Hudson tallied 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point range in 22 total minutes over those two games.

The 2016 Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year, Hudson owns the program record for assists, Hudson holds the school record for career points with 2,309.
As a senior in 2018-19, Hudson averaged 20.4 points per game and led the Chippewas to their third straight MAC regular-season championship and second consecutive NCAA Division I tournament appearance.
Hudson is the second former Chippewa to sign a contract with a European team this month. Forward Reyna Frost recently signed her first professional contract with a.s.d. Basket Costa in Costa Masnaga, Italy. The reigning MAC Player of the Year and an Associated Press All-America honorable mention, Frost owns the conference record for career rebounds and set CMU’s single-season record for points in a season during her senior campaign.
