Chippewa Hills’ Calabrese Finishes Top Ten in USA Clay Target National Championship
MASON, MI – Student athletes from Chippewa Hills, Reed City and Big Rapids competed Saturday and Sunday at the USA Clay Target National Championship.
Jonathan Calabrese from Chippewa Hills finished in eighth place overall with 197 points scored between the two days.
Chippewa Hills’ Raymond Merrill finished in 43rd place with 194 points and Alex Lynch finished 368th with 182 points.
Gavin Wirth and Cody Aldrich represented Reed City by finishing 126th with 192 points and 140th with 191 points, respectively.
Chuck Miller from Big Rapids finished 352nd with 183 points.
As a team, Chippewa Hills finished in 49th with 924 total points.
