White Cloud Cancels 2019 Varsity Season

WHITE CLOUD – White Cloud High School announced Tuesday that it has canceled its 2019 varsity season due to low participation.

Head coach Richard Hance says the varsity program had just seven players on a roster that was comprised of five seniors and two juniors.

White Cloud will still sponsor a JV program this year with 24 student-athletes. The two juniors from the varsity roster will play at the JV level.

The Indians went 0-9 in 2018 and last canceled a season in 2010.

The school plans to support a varsity team in 2020.
