Bellaire Cancels Football Game Due to Bullying

BELLAIRE – Bellaire Public Schools announced the cancelation and forfeiture on Friday’s varsity 8-player football game against Gaylord St. Mary due to inappropriate behaviors involving bullying of one or more teammates.

Bellaire Middle and High School principal and superintendent Mark Brenton wrote in a press release issued by the school district that Bellaire football coaches worked with the administration to address the issue once they aware of it.

MISportsNow reached out to Bellaire Public Schools for comment and the school district says they were unavailable to speak on Friday.
