Fan Caves of Northern Michigan: Tyler Fredricks of Remus

MISportsNow is traveling throughout northern Michigan this summer in search of the best fan caves. This is the 11th episode in the weekly series.

REMUS – Tyler Fredricks of Remus has what he calls his ‘Michigan Man Cave.’

As you step foot in his basement, you are greeted by walls covered in Maize and Blue and large block ‘M.’

Fredricks has a collection that features autographed helmets, footballs and photos from numerous Michigan greats, including Tom Brady, Desmond Howard, Jabril Peppers and many more.

Fredricks is such a passionate Michigan fan that he proposed to his girlfriend at the Big House during the 2017 Michigan-Ohio State game.

“I actually put the proposal on the scoreboard so it was pretty cool,” Fredricks said. “They lost that day, but yes, I won. I won, definitely. To have a wife that puts up with all this, you know.”
