Tri County Opens CSAA Tournament with Win Over Grant
HOWARD CITY – Caden Hoezee tallied a hat trick and Tri County opened the Central State Activities Association tournament with a 5-1 win over visiting Grant on Monday.
The Vikings (7-8-0) held a 2-0 lead at the half.
Brian Corbett and Derek Osbourne also scored for Tri County.
Max deLeon scored the lone goal for the Tigers (5-9-1).
Tri County will now face either Newaygo or Kent City in a tournament semifinal on Wednesday. Grant will face the loser of the Newaygo/Kent City matchup.
