Antcliff Takes Over Beal City Softball Reins

BEAL CITY – Former Beal City baseball coach, longtime Aggie varsity defensive coordinator and girls basketball coach Brad Antcliff is taking over the head coaching reins of Beal City’s varsity softball program.

Antcliff served as an assistant for the Aggie softball program in 2019 under coach John Davis. Davis recently resigned to take the head coaching position at Mt. Pleasant. Under Davis, the Aggies went 125-54 with two district championships from 2015-19.

After leading Beal City’s baseball program to Division 4 state championships in 2013 and 2014 and a pair of Division 4 runner-up finishes in 2009 and 2010, longtime coach Antcliff stepped down at the conclusion of the 2016 season. Antcliff concluded a 10-year career with a record of 308-64-5.

Prior to joining Beal City as the JV baseball coach in 2005, Antcliff spent five years as an assistant with Chippewa Hills.
