Charlevoix Rolls Past Harbor Springs in 2nd Half, Punches Playoff Ticket

HARBOR SPRINGS – Charlevoix cruised to a 47-27 win over Harbor Springs on Friday, securing its first playoff bid since 2016 in the process.

The Rayders led 6-0 after the opening quarter and 20-13 at the half en route to improving to 6-3 after going 1-8 in 2018.

“I’m really happy for our kids, especially our seniors after only winning one game last year,” Charlevoix coach Don Jess said. “This is great to see them experience this. The whole team in general, they’ve worked so hard, and I’m happy for them.”

With the loss, Harbor Springs drops to 6-3.
