Mesick Celebrates Third Playoff Appearance In Program History

MESICK – Sunday night high school football playoff pairings were announced and Mesick got to see who they face on Friday night.

The Bulldogs will travel to Kingston on Friday night at 7 pm.

“It’s just going to be a whole lot of preparation for a team we’ve only gotten a short glimpse at,” said senior Evan Spoor. “From what I remember scrimmaging against Kingston is that they play pretty aggressive physical football and I think we can go toe-to-toe with them because we play the same kind of football.”

Mesick ended the regular season with a record of 7-2, which is their best since 1995 when they had the same record and made it to the first round of the playoffs facing Traverse City St. Francis.

This marks only the third time the Bulldogs have made it to post season, the other two coming in 2017 and 1995.
