WATCH: Mt. Pleasant Football Team Pushes Bus Out of Mud After Big Win

SAGINAW – The Mt. Pleasant football team qualified for the playoffs on Friday night with a big win against SVL opponent Saginaw, 51-0.

That win put the Oilers at 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

This big victory comes after falling to Midland in a nail biter 22-21, so coming out on top felt even better.

With conditions being rainy, muddy, and cold Friday night, the team’s bus got stuck as they were about to leave Saginaw, but with the energy from their W, the team pushed the bus out so they could head home.

As you can see from the video head coach Jason McIntyre posted to Twitter, they were successful.

Next up for the Oilers, they travel to Midland Dow on Friday, Oct. 18.
