Clare Trio Signs NLIs

CLARE – A trio of Clare senior student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent Wednesday evening.

Kameron Haag is taking her talents to Northwood and will compete on the school’s women’s cross country and track and field programs. Haag is a four-time all-Jack Pine Conference honoree and three-time academic all-state honoree. She has led the track and field team to three consecutive conference and regional championships and two MITCA state titles.

Three-sport varsity athlete Brooklyn Tocco is taking her talents to Delta College and its softball team. A third baseman, Tocco has earned all-region and all-JPC honors.

Gwendolyn Sherwood is a three-year member of Clare’s varsity soccer program and is headed to Alderson-Broaddus. She has tallied 58 goals over the last two years en route to earning all-conference, all-district, all-region and all-state.
