Forest Area’s Ingersoll Breaks Program Scoring Record

FOREST AREA — Chase Ingersoll rewrote the record books during his team’s game on Wednesday against Buckley, as the senior now holds the record for most points scored in Forest Area boys basketball history.

Ingersoll entered Wednesday night needing just six points to break the career scoring mark held by Aaron Nolff with 1,199 points. He left no doubt about it, scoring 31 points in his team’s 79-67 victory over Buckley.

Ingersoll signed his letter of intent last week to play baseball at Aquinas College.
