MAPLE CITY – A trio of Glen Lake senior student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.
Ben Kroll and Johnathan Wright both signed with Saginaw Valley State and its football program.
“I’ve been committed since June, but you know to finally put pen to paper, it feels really good,” Kroll said. “Especially going with a fellow teammate of mine, and you know the energy that’s there, and all of the coaches, just makes me really excited for it.”
“I’ve always loved the facilities, the coaches, and their coaching style,” added Wright. “Saginaw’s been my choice for a while.”
George Slack is taking his talents to Northwood and its men’s basketball program.
“My goal has been to play college basketball, and to have Northwood come out and recruit me, is, thank you to them,” Slack said.
