KALAMAZOO — Kingsley made its first quarterfinal appearance in program history, but state-power Richmond proved to be too much for the Stags, winning, 66-3, in the Division 3 quarterfinal.
Kingsley, who was the No. 7 seed in the tournament, finishes its impressive season with a 25-4 record and graduates just one senior from the historic team.
No. 2 seed Richmond advances to face No. 3 seed Alma in the state semifinals on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.
