LAKE CITY – Lake City senior student-athlete Ben Marion signed his National Letter of Intent with Michigan Tech and its football program on Wednesday.
The multi-sport athlete led the Trojans to a pair of MHSAA Division 7 state semifinal appearances and picked Michigan Tech because of its construction management program.
“A big part of it was, I wanted to go into construction management and the three schools that have construction management are Tech, Ferris and Western, and Tech recruited me for football and I knew that I wanted to play football,” Marion said. “Tech was obviously the choice I wanted to go with.”
