Manton Slips Past Lake City in Key Highland Meeting

MANTON – The Manton boys basketball team ran its Highland Conference record to 10-2 with a 45-39 win over visiting Lake City on Tuesday.

The two teams were tied at 9-9 after a quarter, with the Rangers (11-4, 10-2) pulling ahead for a 21-20 lead at the half.

Manton visits Houghton Lake on Friday while Lake City (11-4, 8-4) plays hosts to McBain.
