Morgan, DiLeo Lead CMU Men Past MAC Leader Bowling Green

MT. PLEASANT – Dallas Morgan scored a career-high 29 points on 9-of-16 shooting as Central Michigan handed Bowling Green a 92-82 loss Tuesday at McGuirk Arena in a meeting of Mid-American Conference divisional leaders.

Morgan paced four Chippewas (13-8, 6-2) in double figures and finished the contest going 5-of-10 from 3-point range.

Senior David DiLeo tied CMU’s career 3-point record held by Josh Kozinski with his 306th make in the win. DiLeo ended the game with 26 points and went 6-of-8 from the 3-point mark.

“It feels great. It’s a testament to my teammates and coaches – not just this year but throughout my career putting me in position to utilize my strengths,” DiLeo said. “Obviously I came in as a shooter, so to be able to tie the record at a school that is named ‘3MU’ and has had such good shooters in the past, it means a lot.”

Justin Turner led the Falcons (17-6, 8-2) with a game-high 31 points.

CMU returns to the road at Buffalo on Friday. Tipoff is set for 9 p.m.
