TRAVERSE CITY — Hickory Hills hosted the 2020 Michigan High School Nordic Ski Championships, with several local athletes taking home titles.
Traverse City tied Copper Country for first place as an overall team with 380 total points. The Traverse City boys team won the title with 195 points. Traverse City girls (185 points) finished in second place behind Copper Country (194).
Here’s a list of athletes that placed in the top three in each event for both boys and girls:
Boys Freestyle Sprint:

Girls Freestyle Sprint:

2nd – Arielle Jean, Traverse City

Girls Classic 5K:
