Beal City Holds off Beaverton in D3 District Opener

FARWELL – Logan Chilman scored 18 points as Beal City opened a Division 3 district tournament with a 51-46 win over Beaverton on Monday.

The Aggies (12-9) took a 16-10 lead after the first quarter.

With the loss Beaverton wraps up its season at 16-5.

Beal City will now face Pinconning (8-12) in a district semifinal at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
