Former CMU Standout Staley Retires From NFL
While many athletes are just beginning their careers with the 2020 NFL Draft, one is ending his.
Former Central Michigan University football stand out and veteran San Francisco 49er, Joe Staley announced his retirement on Twitter.

In his tweet he said, “the game of football has been a true passion of mine since I was 8, but my body is telling it’s time.”
Staley was a left tackle with the 49ers for 13 seasons. He was also a six-time pro bowler.
He was drafted by San Francisco as the 28th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
