VanNoord Headed to McBain NMC

After more than 200 wins and 18 years as head coach of Cadillac’s girls soccer program, Jen VanNoord is leaving to take on a new role as head coach of McBain Northern Michigan Christian’s girls soccer program.

With her daughter soon entering her freshman year at NMC, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect for VanNoord.13aefc65

“I felt ready to go. But most importantly, my daughter is now a freshman at Northern Michigan Christian, so it was time for me to say good bye to Cadillac to support her,” VanNoord said. “When the coaching position came up for grabs there at Northern Michigan Christian, I jumped on it.”

VanNoord takes over a Comet program that has won several division championships in the Northern Michigan Soccer league but is still seeking its first conference and district titles.
