Petoskey Holds off Gaylord in 2020 Season Opener

PETOSKEY – Petoskey opened its 2020 season with a 22-14 win over Gaylord in Big North Conference play Friday.

The two teams were tied at 14-14 at the half, with the Northmen pulling ahead 22-14 after three quarters.

The win is Petoskey’s third straight in the series.

Petoskey (1-0, 1-0) visits Traverse City Central next Friday while Gaylord (0-1, 0-1) hosts Cadillac.
