Sanford Meridian in Final Seconds to Beat Gladwin

GLADWIN – Sanford Meridian rallied from 20-point deficit to pull off a 27-20 win over Gladwin in Jack Pine Conference play Friday.

Sanford Meridian scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 16-yard quarterback keeper with 12 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Flying G’s (1-1, 1-1) took a 20-0 lead to the half.

Gladwin welcomes in Shepherd next Friday while Sanford Meridian (1-1, 1-1) hosts Harrison.
