Central Michigan was picked to finish third in the Mid-American Conference West Division in the 2020 MAC Football Coaches Preseason Poll.
The Chippewas garnered 52 points but received the most first-place votes with five. Toledo was selected to win the West Division with 54 points and four votes while Western Michigan was second with 53 points and two votes.
Defending MAC champion Miami (Ohio) was picked to win the East Division with 64 points and six votes. Buffalo received 58 points and four votes.

CMU opens its 2020 season Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 4 against Ohio.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
