TC West Names Wojtanowski Girls Soccer Coach

Traverse City West announced the hiring of Savanna Wojtanowski as its varsity girls soccer coach on Friday.

A West alum, Wojtanowski was a goalkeeper for the Titans for four years and later served as an assistant coach for two years after graduation. She went on to play for Michigan State for three years and holds a single game program record with 14 saves.

“We are excited to add Savanna to our coaching staff at West,” said West athletic director Jason Carmien in a statement. “She is a West graduate with roots in our community and has an outstanding background as a player. Her time at Michigan State University and experiences in women’s professional soccer will be an asset to our student-athletes and families.”

After graduating from MSU with a degree in business management, Wojtanowski played for the Washington Spirit’s reserve team of the National Women’s Soccer League.
