Boyne City Slips Past Glen Lake in OT

MAPLE CITY – Boyne City turned away a fake extra point attempt to secure a 29-28 win over Glen Lake in overtime in a Division 6 district semifinal on Friday.

The Ramblers scored first in the overtime period to go up 29-21 and then turned away a fake field goal attempt by the Lakers to end the game.

Following a scoreless first quarter, the Lakers held an 8-7 lead at the half.

Boyne City (6-2) will now host Grayling in a district final next week. Grayling rolled to a 49-14 win over Manistee on Friday.
