Charlevoix’s Stuck Seeing Success At Michigan
ANN ARBOR – A former Charlevoix standout is already making moves in her DI basketball career.
Elise Stuck has played in every game for University of Michigan so far this season.
The Rayder alumna only played in a few games her senior year due to an injury, but as a true freshman for the Wolverines, she has seen minutes in the first five games of the 2020-2021 season.
She is averaging just over a point a game.
Stuck’s first score of her college career was a three-pointer in her second game. She said the college basketball experiece has been a fun one so far.
“I think it set in that first game playing CMU,” said Stuck. “When you come out on the floor, even with no people there you’re just playing on a bigger stage. I mean, Crisler is huge, it’s nothing like northern Michigan and it’s a completely different stage.”
“I think the experience overall has been really rewarding. I feel like I got everything out of Michigan that I expected and even a little more,” added Stuck.
No. 19 Michigan has a record of 5-0 so far this year and take on Illinois on Saturday.
