CMU’s Moore Wins Appeal with NCAA

MT. PLEASANT — Central Michigan quarterback David Moore reportedly won his appeal with the NCAA. In 2019, Moore tested positive for a banned substance, and he could not play this year due to the substance still being in his system.

On Thursday, Moore won his appeal and he is set to return to the football field in 2021. Moore retweeted Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, detailing the results of the appeal.

Before having to sit out for 365 days, Moore appeared in six of CMU’s games last fall, including starting four games. Moore completed 94-of-164 passes for 1,143 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions and rushed for 66 yards and a score.
