LSSU Edges Alabama-Huntsville
SAULT STE MARIE – After Saturday night’s shootout that ended in a tie, Lake Superior State and Alabama-Huntsville met again Sunday afternoon to close out the weekend series.
The Lakers took a big lead to start, going up 2-0 after the first period.
The Chargers cut the deficit in half after two periods, making it 2-1 heading into the final 20.
Lake State went on to win 3-2, moving to 4-0-2 on the season. The Lakers three goals were scored by Miroslav Mucha, Ashton Calder, and Brandon Puricelli.
Next up for LSSU is Alaska on January 1st and 2nd.
