MHSAA: Limited Number of Spectators Permitted at Remaining Football, Volleyball Contests

The MHSAA announced Wednesday that a limited number of spectators will be permitted for the remaining rounds of the football and volleyball postseason tournaments.

Following approval by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, football teams will receive 125 tickets. Those tickets will be divided up among game participants for purchase by immediate family members. Volleyball teams will receive 50 tickets for immediate family members. All tickets must be purchased through the GoFan digital ticketing platform.

Spectators in separate households must be spaced out by six feet and remain socially distanced at contests. Spectators must also wear masks at all times.

The football playoffs are set to resume Saturday while the volleyball postseason resumes on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
