Rudyard’s Postma Signs with Delta Softball

RUDYARD — Rudyard senior Paige Postma signed her letter of intent to play college softball at Delta College next year.

Postma has played her entire high school softball career at the varsity level, but did not get a chance to play last year because of the coronavirus pandemic. She also competed for the Rudyard volleyball team.

She said that she chose Delta College for the next two years because of their cardiac sonography program.

“Delta had my program and it just made more sense to go where my program was,” Postma said. “I liked the campus and how it felt there. I hope to get my degree from there and maybe go onto a bigger college and focus on the cardiac part of the sonography program.”

On the softball field, Postma said that she hopes to pitch and play third base for Delta.
