Sacred Heart’s Predum Takes Talents to Madonna University

Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart senior Luke Predum is set to take his talent to Madonna University and its football program next fall.

A wide receiver and tight end, Predum originally had his sights set on playing college basketball after being recruited by several schools, but says once the offer came from Madonna and after visiting the Livonia campus, he believes it is the best fit for him. Luke Predum 2

“It’s definitely a dream come true,” Predum says. “Ever since I was little I’ve always wanted to play sports in college, so it’s really rewarding seeing that I’m actually getting this offer and I’m committing to play. It feels really good and I’m definitely blessed. Having athletics on top of academics, I think it’s gonna teach me a lot of valuable life lessons and I’m really excited.”

Predum closed out his prep career by leading the Irish to a 7-2 mark and a spot in an 8-player Division 2 regional final.

He plans to earn a degree in the health field at Madonna.

Madonna is set to kick off its inaugural NAIA football campaign in February.
