Central Michigan Loses Fourth Straight Game
MT. PLEASANT — Central Michigan lost its fourth straight game on Tuesday in an 83-69 loss to Ohio in the Mid-American Conference men’s basketball game at home.
The Chippewas played tough in the first half, going on a 14-6 run entering halftime to only trail, 38-34.
That run kept building in the second half where the Chippewas tied it up at 40 with a jumper by Travon Broadway with 18:55 left in the second half. But the Bobcats caught fire, going on a 26-10 run to build a strong lead, which they held onto throughout the remainder of the game.
With the loss, CMU falls to 6-11 overall and 2-8 in conference play. The Chippewas will play next on Tuesday, Feb. 9, against Ball State at 5 p.m.
