JoBurg’s Huff Ready To Take Talents to Northwood

JOHANNESBURG – After a fantastic season on the football field, it’s no surprise that Johannesburg-Lewiston started drawing attention to their standout athletes.

The Cardinals made it to the semifinals this past season, the farthest they had gone in the postseason in over 20 years. The team being lead by one of their seniors, Sheldon Huff.

Huff is now taking his talents to Northwood’s football team.

He had offers from two other GLIAC schools, but the Timberwolves felt like the best match.

“It was just the place for me,” said Huff. “I love the coaching staff, where I was going to get my degree, and it was just perfect me. I really like the program they have there and I just really enjoyed it and it felt like home to me and family like, and that’s what I was really looking for.”

Huff plans to major in sports management, where is goal is to become an athletic director or coach.

Huff signed his letter of intent on February 3.
