Boyne City’s Hauger Finishes 3rd on AMSOIL Championship Snocross National Tour

BOYNE CITY – Another season of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour recently wrapped up, and it was a banner year for Boyne City senior and Pro Women National racer Inanna Hauger.

After suffering a season-injury a year ago, Hauger came back this winter to finish third on the national tour that runs from early January through the end of March and encompasses eight race weekends across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa.

“I’m really happy that the whole season got to be finished and I’m really happy with my third place,” Hauger said. “It’s the highest I’ve ever gotten, so I’m really happy with that, especially from last year when I got hurt. It was awesome to come back this year and have such a successful season.”

Hauger is now looking forward to her senior season of soccer this spring before heading off to the University of Minnesota Crookston in the fall where she’ll join the NCAA Division II soccer program.
