Rudyard Eyes Third Straight Regional Title
RUDYARD – The Rudyard softball team is back on the field and eyeing a third straight regional championship.
While the Bulldogs saw their 2020 season canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they start a new spring on the heels of consecutive quarterfinal appearances.
Rudyard returns eight seniors that are hungry to get past the Division 4 state quarterfinals and reach Michigan State.
“These girls have some experience going deep in the playoffs in multiple sports,” Rudyard coach Stephen David said. “We’re just trying to finish that off and continue to have a good career for those girls.”
Rudyard continues its season Saturday at Hillman.
