Traverse City West, Central Split Baseball Doubleheader

TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City West and Central split their doubleheader in a rivalry baseball matchup, with West winning the first game, 5-1, and the Trojans winning the second game, 7-4.

The story in the first game was the pitching by Wyatt Danilowicz, who tossed a no-hitter against the Trojans. He had 17 strikeouts and four walks in seven innings of work.

The Trojans bounced back with seven runs in the second game. Reed Seabase had a solid performance in the second game, going 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

The Titans will host Byron Center on Saturday, while the Trojans will play at Midland on Saturday.
