Ludington’s Stowe to Play Basketball, Soccer at Adrian
LUDINGTON — Ludington’s Hailey Stowe is taking her talents to Adrian in the fall to play both basketball and soccer, after she signed her national letter of intent in March.
Stowe was a standout player in both sports at Ludington, where she was a four-year varsity starter with the girls soccer program and helped lead the team to a district finals appearance in 2018 and a district title in 2019.
She was also instrumental in the Orioles’ district crown and regional finals appearance for basketball this past season.
Among First Team All-Conference honors for both basketball and soccer, Stowe also earned All-State honorable mention for soccer three straight years and the BCAM’s BEST honorable mention for basketball in Div. 2.
She said she now looks forward to growing as a player at the collegiate level.
“It is a dream that I’m able to play, not only just soccer which I love but also basketball too. I’m just super fortunate for that and I think it will be a lot of fun,” said Stowe. “The coaches are really great so I’m excited to learn under them because I think going in I only know so much, but then if I take it to this next level I can grow so much as well. And I can just definitely see myself succeeding there.”
Stowe plans on pursuing a degree in human resources at Adrian.
