DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers have traded left-handed relief pitcher Daniel Norris to the Milwaukee Brewers, the teams announced Friday afternoon.
In return, the Tigers received 21-year-old right-hander Reese Olson, the 13th round pick in the 2018 draft from North Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia.

Olson, a 21-year-old, 6-foot-1, 160-pound right-hander will likely head to West Michigan to join the Whitecaps if he continues his solid performance in High-A ball.
Olson turns 22 on Saturday.
With MLB trade deadline set for 4 p.m. on Friday, the Tigers made their only move of the year just hours before the end of the trade period.

Norris, 28, will become a free agent at the end of the 2021 season. He has pitched for the Tigers since 2015.
