Beal City Reenergized for 2021

BEAL CITY – With a strong group of returning players, Beal City is a team reenergized for the start of the 2021 season and ready to make a deep playoff run.

Beal CityAfter reaching the Division 8 state title game in 2019, the Aggies went 7-2 a year ago, falling to Johannesburg-Lewiston in a Division 8 district final.

Beal City is looking to make its third straight playoff appearance this fall after missing out in 2017 and 2018. The Aggies have recorded seven playoff wins over the last two years.

“That’s Beal City tradition,” coach Brad Gross said. “I mean, we have a great tradition going is making the playoffs and that’s our goal is to get better every week and try to get to the playoffs and once we get there, see what we can do so that’s what we’re after, that’s what we try and do.”

“We got some numbers, but we definitely don’t have the size we’ve had the past couple of years, but we have the key players we need to be successful,” added senior Wade Wilson.

Beal City opens its season at home against Ravenna on Friday, Aug. 27.
