Ludington to Travel to Wisconsin for Two Soccer Games

LUDINGTON — The Ludington boys soccer team will take a ferry across Lake Michigan on Friday to play a pair of teams from Wisconsin.

They will play the games at Manitowoc, facing a team from that area along with the Green Bay area.

The programs hope to start a tradition of playing each season, with the Wisconsin teams traveling to Michigan next year.

“So next year they’re going to come here and we’re going to try to make this an annual event between the two of us just changing where the venue is every other year,” Ludington head coach Kris Anderson said.

“It will be really cool to say that I was one of the first people to go across and I hope it continues for as long as possible and all these guys will get to experience it too,” Ludington senior Matthew Snyder said.

The Orioles are 2-0 and have outscored their opponents by nine goals so far this season.
