Nine Starters Return for St. Ignace in 2021

ST. IGNACE – St. Ignace kicks off its 2021 season with nine starters returning from a team that went 1-6 a year ago.

Junior quarterback Reece McLean returns after suffering an injury in the first game last year. McLean started for the Saints as a freshman, and with his experience returning, St. Ignace is riding a bit of confidence as the season commences.

“I think it was just more of a lot of younger guys who didn’t necessarily know what they were doing,” added senior Tristin Misner. “Getting that experience that coming back this year, we’re going to be more prepared.”
