Blue Jackets Finish Prospect Tournament with Best Record

TRAVERSE CITY — The NHL Prospect Tournament wrapped up on Monday with a pair of games. The Blue Jackets defeated the Maple Leafs, 7-6, in overtime. The Stars picked up their first win over the Blues, 7-3.

Columbus went to overtime twice in the tournament, winning both times. They were the only team to not lose in this year’s tournament.

The Red Wings went 1-2 in this year’s tournament, wrapping up their games on Sunday.

Detroit will begin training camp on Thursday and it will run until Tuesday. They will have the Red and White Game on Sunday at 12 p.m. Training camps start at 9:30 a.m. Everything will be head at Centre Ice Arena.
