MISportsNow Top Plays – Week of 9/13-9/19

As high school fall sports enter into the heart of the season, there were some close games in boys soccer and thrilling matchups on the football field. There were five particular highlights that made our MISportsNow Top Plays from week four.

Here’s our top five:

5. Sault Ste. Marie’s Aubrey Burns comes up with a great block for point in the Blue Devil’s sweep over Boyne City.

4. Pickford gets a big time 79-yard touchdown pass and catch from Zach Harrison to Brayden Altoft.

3. Marion quarterback Mason Salisbury makes a great throw while being dragged down by Mesick defenders.

2. Ogemaw Heights defender Caden Reetz and goalie Ryland McDaniels team up on a great save to shut out McBain NMC to hand Comets first loss of the year in boys soccer.

1. Traverse City Central QB Josh Burnham sheds defenders on a powerful rushing touchdown, leading the Trojans in their third straight TC Patriot Game victory over TC West.
